ECON 300 - Intermediate Microeconomics This course is an in-depth analysis of the theory of prices. Topics that are usually examined in this course are the theory of demand, production functions, costs and supply; price determination in the short and long run under alternative market conditions, as well as the determination of wages and factor payments. This course provides a basic theoretical foundation for other courses that apply microeconomic theory including labor economics, industrial organization, international trade, health care, etc.
Prerequisites: ECON 200 & 201, or ECON 205; MATH 192 or MATH 198. Credits: 3 hours NOTE: General Honors Course.
NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
