JAPN 218 - Introduction to Japanese Culture Introduces basic concepts that determine interactions in Japanese society, such as duty and filial piety, and discusses the manner in which they are implemented in society. No background in Japanese language is required.
Credits: 3 hours NOTE: This course fulfills the Intercultural Interconnecting Perspectives of the Liberal Studies Program.
NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
