MATH 240 - Concrete Behavioral Foundations of Mathematics The foundations and structure of number systems, emphasis on the whole numbers, the integers, the nonnegative rational numbers, and finite number systems, as well as informal geometry. This course does not satisfy Liberal Studies Program requirements in Mathematics.
Prerequisite: MATH 186 or (MATH 156 and MATH 157) or (MATH 192, MATH 194, or MATH 198). Credits: 3 hours NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
