ES 261 - Applied Sport Psychology in Human Performance


This course will examine various psychological principles that affect human performance. Students will learn psychological theories and techniques that have been used to effectively enhance the performance and personal growth of participants from all levels of sport and physical activity. The course will maintain an applied perspective with an emphasis of major psychological barriers including anxiety, confidence, motivation, and burnout.

Prerequisites: ES 190 and PSYC 166.
Credits: 2 hours
