ENG 325 - Middle Eastern Literature An overview of the literary heritage of the peoples of the Middle East, focusing on one or more of the following: a national literature (e.g. Arabic, Farsi, Hebrew); an historical period (ancient, renaissance, contemporary); a major work (the Torah, the Bible, the Qur’an); or a major genre (oral poetry, historiography, modern fiction). May be repeated under different topics for up to eight credits.
