ENG 622G - British/Commonwealth Studies This interdisciplinary course explores an English-speaking culture in a particular time, place, class, and/or mood. It examines works of literature, arts, music, philosophy, religion, and history - the varied manifestations of the culture’s self-definition. Sample cultures: contemporary Canadian, colonial Indian, Renaissance London, or Belfast Catholic. May be repeated under different topics.
