JINS 356 - The Art and Science of Humor This course is designed to allow students the opportunity to look at the human phenomenon of humor through the lenses of research in the hard and soft sciences. Students come to understand what makes something humorous as well as the impact of humor on the mind and body. This course draws on the fields of sociology, psychology, physiology, medicine, communication, political science, business, education, linguistics, and literature.
Prerequisite: Junior status. Credits: 3 When Offered: Online - summer NOTE:
