JINS 393 - Historic Trials This course studies historic American trials and legal cases, from the Colonial Era to the present. the cases selected are chosen in part due to their intrinsic interest and drama, but also due to their historical significance, to illustrate the historical development of legal and constitutional doctrines, and to demonstrate the relevance of other areas of knowledge to the law.
Prerequisite: Junior standing Credits: 3 NOTE:
* This course fulfills the Junior Interdisciplinary Writing-Enhanced Seminar Interconnecting Perspective of the Liberal Studies Program.
** This course counts toward the 63-credit Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
