MDST 300 - Mideast Archaeological Dig and Study Tour Through first-hand exposure to representative sites of Middle Eastern antiquity, through hands-on participation in an archaeological dig, and through interaction in the contemporary cultural, religious, social, and political milieu sites in Egypt, Israel, Jerusalem and the West Bank, students gain knowledge, experience, and insight into the historical development that shaped the traditions of an area that is pivotal to an understanding of the western world.
