PSYC 445 - Positive Psychology Positive psychology is the study of how human beings prosper in the face of adversity. Its goal is to identify and enhance the human strengths and virtues that make life worth living and allow individuals and communities to thrive. This course provides an introduction to positive psychology. It examines the paradigm shift from pathology to strengths-based psychology. The course is designed to decrease stressors and enhance optimism and well-being.
Prerequisites: Grade of C, or better, in and . Credits: 3 NOTE:
* This course counts toward the 63-credit Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
