PSYC 466 - Psychological Research


The general character, advantages, and limitations of scientific method in psychological research. Students design, conduct, and statistically treat the data obtained from a research project.

Prerequisites: PSYC 266 - Experimental Psychology , STAT 190 - Basic Statistics  or STAT 290 - Statistics , and senior psychology major; either STAT 375 - ANOVA/Experimental Design , STAT 376 - Nonparametric Statistics/Sampling  or STAT 378 - Linear Regression/Time Series  recommended prior to enrollment.
Credits: 4
NOTE:
* This course counts toward the 63-credit Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
