HLTH 255 - Introduction to Community and Public Health


This course provides an overview of the interdependence of the six disciplines of public health: epidemiology, statistics, biomedical sciences, environmental health science, health services administration, and social and behavioral sciences.  Current challenges in public health, social determinants of health, and potential policy and health education solutions are addressed. This course includes an integrated service learning component.
