Art Studio Minor

Program Requirements:
The Art Studio Minor requires the successful completion of 15 credits of the following courses Art Studio Minor Foundations Proficiency
Minors when declaring an art studio minor assemble three examples from ART101 Art Studio Foundations I and ART 202 Art Studio Foundations II. The student meets with the faculty member responsible for the specialty in which they plan to minor (ceramics, fibers, painting, printmaking, sculpture, or 3D). The faculty member evaluates the submitted portfolio for approval of meeting minimum proficiency and notifies the Department chair of approval. Proficiency must be completed before any 300 level and above course can be taken. Note:
BA: Art History majors may minor in a Studio Art specialty by fulfilling the requirements of the Art Studio minor. *Only six hours of credit may be counted in both the major and the minor. |
